Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for a job with CAMP U.S. that I saw advertised in the local newspaper. I have attached a copy of my CV.

I am currently taking my final exams at Jesuïtes El Clot and I expect to achieve good marks because I am focused student. When I finish school, I want to study a university degree in social education in Imperial College London. Afterwards, I would like to work in social services because I want to help people and specifically in social exclusion or emergency centers, residences and flats. Due to this, I think that the job would be excellent experience of me.

At school, philosophy and citizenship are my favourites subjects because I believe coexistence is extremely important. Moreover, I take good marks in English because I go an academy to practice and in my free time, I watch American films in VOSE and I listen to music in English. In addition, I like to be with children and teach them arts like photography or maybe technology like computer programs.

I believe that my ability to get along with anyone and my experience in solving problems in a retail setting make me ideally suited for this job.

Damian: I think that watching a film in the cinema much better than watching it in the internet. Don't you think?

Kovu: Well, I'm not sure about that because if we stay here we don't have to pay anything at all. Also, we don't have to move.

Damian: Are you really that lazy? I can see your point there but if we see it in the computer we have to put up with seeing ads, interrupting the movie. It's true that seeing films in the internet is a lot cheaper but the quality of the sound and the image in the cinema is better.

Kovu: I'm not lazy, it's just that like that we could enjoy watching a film lying on the couch, very comfortable.

Damian: I agree with that but for that reason there are some cinema with sofas. It's just that you are very lazy to get out of the sofa, right?

Ceci and Albert are two friends who have stayed at the home of the second to see the series of Riverdale.

Ceci: Albert, in which chapter we stayed at Paula's house?
Albert: In the fifth, although she continued to see it, she is already in the tenth. I hope she doesn't spoil us with any Tweet.
Ceci: I hope so. Well, come on, open Netflix and let's start.

Albert: Okay, well, we have a problem... The series doesn't appear in the Netflix menu, so I thought of seeing it by Megadede, which is free.

Samantha: I think that the online platforms such as Megadede are incredible and useful. What do you think about?

Adeline: Well, I don’t agree with you. I have to admit that is very useful, although I think that watching a film in the cinema is much better.

Samantha:Are you completely sure? Watching a film in the house is cheaper and you don’t have to move.

Adeline: Yes, I agree but in the cinema there aren’t any TV commercial during the film. There are at the beginning where they don’t bother the viewers, at least not all of them.  Don’t you think?

Samantha: I think so, depends on what you are going to see. There are some pages that don’t have ads.

Adeline: You might have a point but the quality in the cinema is better than in the computer. Don’t you think?

Sara and Esteban are two friends who are in a bar in the center of Barcelona having a coffee, when Sara says ...

-Sara: Stephen, have you seen the new movie of the Avengers?

-Not Sara. I haven't had time to go to the movies, I have a lot of work.- said Esteban.

-Sara: But Esteban, you do not have to go to the movies to see her. You can see it at home with the Megadede platform, it's super comfortable!

-Esteban: But Sara, those internet pages are illegal ... and they put viruses in the computer ...

-Sara: Not! The ads only appear at the beginning of the movie!

Alexis: What it is Megadede?

Mike: is a web page to watch movies and series for free.

Alexis: Really? I didn’t know it.

Mike: Yes, 

if it is fine why you can watch movies and series that are paid and I see them for free.

Alexis:I know that Internet pages, those pages are not legal since you see the pirated movies.

Mike:I know but ... Well, never mind.

Alexis:You're wrong.In other countries type of pages are forbidden and can even fine you for watching them

Mike: Well, I’m not too sure but, in my opinion I have to say that they are very good because I am watching movies and series for free instead of paying Netflix or HBO, I see the series through Megadede and for free, without any kind of problem

Alexis:Yes, I know but in those pages there are many ads and especially many pornographic ads, imagine you are with your little brother and see that?

Mike: I agree but they go fast and then you can enjoy Game of Thrones for free

"Charity work should not be needed today, people should look after themselves"

NGO's help a lot of people around the world, people who are hungry, homeless or in a situation of risk. But, ¿Are NGO's really nedeed?.

Firstly, we should know that there are a lot of NGO's  but there are some that we don't even know what they are for. By this I mean that there shouln't be so many NGO's for so many things, we should focus on the things that matter and not make NGO's for issues that are not so important. With all of this in consideration, the idea that I want to give is that there are a lot of organisations that waste money in meaningless things, while there are a lot of most important and urgent things that are not getting attention.

Even if there are so many NGO's, charity makes us realize that there are a lot of more important things than think about what to wear the next day. It make us think about others and their situations, even thought we are not going throught that. Althougt we could do this by ourselves, it always helps the outside help to realize the reality.

To conclude, I believe that some people don't need NGO's to live well but it make realize the well-off people the bad things that happen in the world, even thought there are so many charitys that you can't decide what cause to help.

I'd like to begin by saying that a NGOs is an organization that  operates independently of any government, typically one whose purpose is to address a social or political issue.

First of all, I think that the existence of NGOs is necessary because they do the social assistance tasks that governments don't made. It's also true that there are people who criticize the work that NGOs made, but without these organizations there would be many people without economic resources to live and in social exclusion. 

Another thing is that thanks to the NGOs, more people are aware of what is happening in the world. For this reason, maybe one day charity work will disappear because it will not be necessary, but at the moment it's necessary. 

To sump up, I think that who should try to make the organizations disappear is ourselves and not wait for them to disappear on their own. Only we're able to change the world.

In a modern world like ours, the issue of if charity work should be needed or not today is very popular. I personally think that we still have to offer this charity service, but people should also try and look after themselves.

On one hand, we are always taught to be self-sufficient and independent so we can accomplish things without other’s help which I think is not as hard as it seems. Furthermore, there’s not always going to be someone there to help us, so we must be able to look after ourselves when this situation happens.

On the other hand, there are people who try to overcome their bad situation without charity’s help, but they just can’t because of their past, origin or other types of discrimination. That is why charity work is still needed today and will always be and we should provide it for those who try it on their own but just can’t, they deserve it.

To conclude, I personally think that people who are in a bad situation should first try to overcome it without help but if they can’t they should have the opportunity to receive help by charities.

 NGOs are a great support and a great help for people.

They are organizations to "save" human beings from social, economic, and cultural inequalities in the world.charity comes from each one, each contributes what can there be people who do not help and there are others who give their lives to save other

I think the number of NGOs may be reduced, but they will not disappear, at least not in a long time.Because although there are problems today a few years ago there were also but twice, some have been solved but not completely, there are still inequalities, animal trafficking, against vandalism, trafficking in white, injustice, climate change, greenhouse effect the poles

They are melting, and the NGOs help to slow down all these processes help to donate money, food, drink, all kinds of extra help, they are welcome. Above all, I think that what they help most is to raise awareness of many of the injustices that there are in our planet.

Nowadays, fortunately or maybe not, there are many NGOs and people who need them because they can not have a decent life. But my question is today should we let people take care of themselves and the charity did not exist?

Firstly, I don't think today NGOs can disappear, because asking someone who has economic problems to take care of himself is impossible. But in the future, when things, hopefully, have changed for the better, I think the number of NGOs may be reduced, but they will not disappear, at least not in a long time.

The second thing is that charity helps us to realize that we shouldn't be so selfish and that we should learn to take care of each other and not only of ourselves, and that if it is necessary to go where people need us, places not very distant but that we ignore.

Finally, I think that we need charity and that people should learn to take care of others so that the world is better and more fair for all.

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Claudia Martín and I am very proud to say that I am a granddaughter of Isidoro Martin and Rosario Correa, two important people in my life,
they have been present since I was very small taking care of myself, I did not go to the nursery, to me they took care of all their time to take care of me and pay attention to me.

They are and will always be a great reference in my life since their lives have been very hard but they have known how to take them, they have had many problems throughout life and also many joys.
They have suffered like no other and have enjoyed everything they could.

I wish you all the best and continue to be happy, I love you, good evening for all.

50th wedding anniversary

Ladies and gentlemen, sorry to drag you from your desserts. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Inés, the granddaugther of Eduardo and Elvira. I'm very pleased to be here this evening to talk about the 50th wedding anniversary of my grandparents. 

It's important to bear in mind that these two persons they first met when they were very young. He was 19 years old and she was 15 years old, no one was betting for them and look at them now. In spite of the fights, the bad moments and everything else. They have been good parents and especially good grandparents. They have always taken care of me and they have been by my side.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity for telling you how much you means to me, for giving me good memories and the most important for give me to the parents that I have.

Good morning. I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Itzel Rebatet, the chosen grandaughter to give this speech to our loved grandparents. I appreciate you taking time to listen this.

First of all, I would to congratulate my grandparents for the 50th anniversary of his marriage.Enduring each other must have been difficult, especially the smell of grandparents' feet. I think these years that passed are very significant because it means that love can overcome everything. I would like to find love that lasts as much as them.

Despite the fact that I haven't lived much with them such as my parents or my uncle because they lived in dinosaurs era but, I know they are a happy and joyful couple. I love them more that they can think and all the people here as well.

First at all, I would like to congratulate my grandparents for their fifty years together, believe me, they have lasted three times more than many couples nowadays and that has merit.

If I fell in love, I don't think it would last that long. But jokes aside. You have lived many things together, you have fought, you have laughed, you have cried, but first of all you have been great parents and grandparents. You have been the creators of a great family. Without you, I wouldn't be here, and for that I want to say thank you.

Thank you for giving me this family, for giving me those good memories. And thank you for inviting me to celebrate this great celebration with you, such as your fifty years of marriage. Thank you and congratulations.

First, I would like to congratulate my grandparents, for their 50 years of marriage, they are the protagonists of today. I have always thought that I would like to find love, and that it be the same as what they have, that they look each other in the eye and continue to love for as long as the years go by.

I am very happy to be able to share with you such a special day. A day like today 50 years ago, you decided to get married and start a family, and without you nobody would be here now, thanks grandparents.

Thank you for having been in my happiest days, and for helping me in the saddest days. You are a true example to follow, you have taught me to value what I have and to be a better person for the future. You have seen me take the first steps, and you have helped me to mature as a person, for this and many other things, thank you very much.

Film Review -Claudia Martín Ramírez

21 Blackjack is a film directed by Robert Luketic based on the boock Ben Mezrich, he trained in 2008.It based on a real story about some college students who together with their teacher make a plan for the Las Vegas casino,this plan will be done thansk to their intelligence and well calculated mathematical games.


Ben Campbells is a great student and has the opportunity to win a scholarship. But he does not have enough money to pay for college so his teacher, as he sees that he has so much potential, offers the young man to join a group, where thanks to mathematics they can get the money from the vegas casino and thus finance the university

This movie thas its positive and negative sides.

The positive part is that it makes people understand that mathematics is very important for day-to-day life and gives value.
The downside is that it is very long and we all wait for the end, it is too predictable.

Personally I think it is very expected, and I would recommend this film according to people who might like this as it is very long and it becomes very boring

The movie we started in class is 21 BlackJack. We could not finish it, but at home I did it and I didn't liked it a lot.

21 BlackJack is inspired by the real story of young people with the most prodigious minds in the EE. UU (Massachusetts), and how experts become the card counting and the skills to earn millions of dollars in the casinos of Las Vegas.

It is a 2008 American film directed by Robert Luketic and starring: Ben Campbell, Jill Taylor, Cole Williams and Professor Micky Rosa.

The truth is that this movie has disappointed me a bit and I do not recommend it, because the film was too long and slow to watch. I do not understand why nobody in the casino realizes the signs that are made between them, or that they always feel together.

The film is played in the U.S, and is concentrated on the story of a student that has just been accepted into Harvard Medical School but he can't afford to pay.Ben Campbells is a great student and has an opportunity to win a scholarship.A teacher offers him to enter a group of blackjack team to win the money to pay the university.

What I like about this film is that it's about casino games and it's an interesting topic but in the other hand, the film is very long and the end is very predictable.

In my opinion, I don't recommend this film because is quite boring, as the film plays unnecesary scenes for me.

The film is about a student who can not pay for the university. He decides to get into the world of cards because he is very intelligent. 

He joins a group where they travel to Las Vegas for free as the school pays for it.Once there they try to discover the method to always win and pocket a lot of money.

 Upon discovering the young student earns a lot of money, which little by little he loses it as his partner makes him cross the limits.

The only thing that I liked was how the card tricks have been explained, and even so I think there are things that have no logic in this, like the fact that nobody in the casinos realizes that they always sit to play together or that they have not noticed the obvious signs that are made between them.

21 blackjack is an American film of drama directed by Robert Luketic in 2008, the story is based on the book Bringing Down the House of Ben Mezrich and the main character is starred by Jim Sturgess. Other actors are Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne, among other. All the actors are American and in the movie they talk all the time in English and the film was made on a big budget of 35.000.000$

The film takes place in EE.UU. and it tells the story of Ben Campbell, a student which has been accepted at the Harvard School of Medicine. He is a good student, for this reason he has the opportunity to win a scholarship to pay his studies. How is smart, his math teacher consider that is could be useful for join a group where they count cards and win money making bets in several casinos in Las Vegas.

The most enjoyable thing about the film is when the main character was integrated in the group and he learned about the cards and the casinos, there are plots about it funny. The fault I can find is that the film sometimes is a bit boring.

In my opinion, I don’t recommend this movie because sometimes has funny moments and boring moments.
